About Us

Avidan (Translated – God is just) Trading cc was founded by its managing member Johan Le Roux in January 1997. The company’s core business is the selling of pipes, fittings and general hardware to the civil contracting market. Due to the nature of materials we are handling, other sectors became offset points as well. The company is trading as a merchant, therefore not manufacturing, but rather buying and selling.
Avidan Holdings is a Level Two B-BBEE Contributor.

The company’s spectrum of activities is governed by solid values, thought and ethics and is based on a strong foundation.
Goals & objectives
The company was formed with the sole intention to succeed, create employment and to prosper, for all its employees in the long term. It is Avidan's objective not to deviate from its core business, but to be sustaining good business practice as a pipe and fitting merchant.

As a merchant, it is imperative to uphold the best possible relationship with debtor and creditor, and to provide the best service to its clients for what it is intended for.

It is the intent of Avidan to prosper, be economically viable and to be profitable.

Our vision is to be the number one merchant that comes to mind when the contractor or buyer wants to buy pipes and fittings. It is always our believe that price and service goes hand in hand, and therefore is striving to uphold this very thought. In a market and a country for that matter, where we are all calling for service, it is our vision to comply. We do believe that in this very competitive market, Avidan can and will deliver on price and service due to the fact its manageable size, focus, determination and above all, its people. With new technology comes new brands and material and it is our intent to keep up with the latest trends and material available for the industry. Quality, but not necessarily quantity, will always be a priority.

Our Mission

Avidan Trading grew from its humble beginnings in 1997 to where it is today. Premises for sales and distribution, a fleet of delivery and transport vehicles and other fixed assets now belonging and owed by the company. We are constantly negotiating the best rates from our suppliers in order to offer the best prices to our clients and to complement our delivery service to our customers, the delivery fleet is also regularly being upgraded.
Customers are identified in order to promote the company and its product range. Stock holding is kept to acceptable levels to accommodate demand, but not to put pressure on cash flow. Equity and a good return on investment are being streamlined to ensure the sound future of Avidan. The company believes in a total transparent and open-door policy.

Our Services

Avidan has its sales and distribution warehouse ideally situated in Midrand – Gauteng where material can be collected or despatched from. Deliveries of any size are made directly to the customer’s site, plant or warehouse anywhere in South Africa.
